Offers double shear nailing. Patented dimple allows for 30 to 45 nailing through the joist into the header, resulting in higher loads and less nailing. Slant nailing also eliminates the need for shorter joist nails in 2X applications. 18-gauge. Finish: 90 galvanizing. TZ indicates triple zinc. GC indicates gold coat. NOTE1: Triple zinc finish contains 3 times the amount of corrosion-resistant zinc than the standard finish and is recommended for minimum corrosion, minimum protection with treated lumber as well as exposed or outdoor application. NOTE2: Gold coat finish is an exclusiveorganic polymer barrier coating, applied over a zinc galvanization, to provide 2 times the performance in protecting against corrosion. The wood-tone finish also color-matches to treated lumber for enhanced aesthetics and concealment.
